The Junior Investment Consultant position resides in the Global Client Servicing team of the Pension Strategy Solution. The position is based in the Netherlands (Rotterdam or Amsterdam), but you will be working together closely with colleagues located in the international offices of Ortec Finance. In your job, you will provide support to our license clients by training them, helping them perform analyses and will become their sparring partner when it comes to the use of the ALM software, GLASS. You will gain significant experience in the asset as well as the liability modelling of client’s balance sheets, perform ALM studies yourself and further develop your modelling, analytical, advising and presentation skills. You will be in direct contact with the clients, and you will be able to alternate your work between office, working from home and occasionally at clients. Climate and ESG scenarios are closely integrated into our software, showing their impact to our clients.

The ALM and investment consultants working in the Pension Strategy Solution advise pension funds on their strategic investment/asset allocations, the practical implementation of these allocations and support the funds with the monitoring of short and long-term risks. These consultants make use of our ALM software, GLASS, which has been developed by Ortec Finance and can be configured to the specific circumstances of each pension fund. In addition, clients can also utilize the software themselves and perform analyses independently.

The Global Client Servicing team has team members in the Netherlands, UK, Switzerland and Canada. This diverse and international team of experts works closely together. There is a lot of room for knowledge sharing and cooperation.
