What will you do as our Lead front-end developer?

You are a technical foreman within a Scrum Team of both back-end (Java) and front-end (Angular) developers. The team builds an advanced Java Enterprise/Angular web platform, which our clients use to analyze ex-post results of investment and real estate portfolios.

Your experience in front-end is a driving force in the team: you will establish frameworks and will ensure a robust yet flexible architectural design, while keeping an eye on performance. You will build complex features and you will guide the other front-end developers. You will cooperate with other developers, the UI/UX designer and the test analyst within the Scrum team, with the product owner and stakeholders of the product, and with front-end developers in other teams.

'Software craftsmanship' runs through your vines. You know the possibilities of Angular, CSS and JavaScript and you follow the relevant trends. You regularly share your new insights with your colleagues in knowledge- and brainstorm sessions. All contributing to the innovation of our products!

What do you need to be our Lead front-end developer?

You have a Bachelor or Master degree in a technical, science or engineering field. You have at least 5 years of experience in front-end development within (Agile/Scrum) teams and are interested in the world of finance.

You have a wide range of experience in using Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript and Sass/CSS in complex web applications and you have designed front-end architecture for them.

You also possess:

  • good conceptual and innovative capabilities;
  • good communication skills;
  • teaching and coaching skills (to educate other front-end developers);
  • a result oriented focus;
  • cooperative skills.
