This role is based in the UK where you will be working with our OPAL solution, helping to support our UK clients and expand our business in the UK.

What do we have to offer?

You will be working together closely with our UK sales representative, colleagues located in the Netherlands and our partners in the UK. There will be a significant amount of direct contact with our clients and our partners to support our clients, UK wealth managers, and banks, using our OPAL solution.

Our OPAL solution enables Goal Based Financial Planning for UK financial advisors. It enables advisors to translate client financial goals into an optimal investment strategy that reflects their personal ambitions, cash flows, and risk appetite and monitor the progress over time. The economic scenario generator that is built into OPAL enables advisors to test the financial plan in multiple economic scenario’s.

As a Senior Business Consultant, you will support our clients to enhance the advisory process with the use of OPAL. In addition you will help them to integrate our APIs in the apps and websites they build for their customers. You are responsible to increase the number of advisors using OPAL at our clients, and extending the number of business lines using OPAL. You will play an important role in translating business requirements to product features, to further optimize and innovate our OPAL solution. This means you are an important partner for our development and sales teams.

For example, on Monday you will meet advisors at a bank to give a training ‘how to improve your business success with Goal Based Planning by OPAL’. On Tuesday your focus is on providing input for a marketing campaign and a refinement session on the new features of the next OPAL release. Later that week you join the UK sales representative to meet a prospect.

In addition, you have:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or something related, with an interest in financial markets
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience, ideally in investments or financial advice in the UK
  • A level 4 RDR qualification or former financial advisor is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Being fluent in English is a requirement.
