Junior Front-end Developer

What do we have to offer?

Your future team is responsible for developing and maintaining financial planning software. We deliver multiple solutions to international retail & private banking clients amongst others.

As part of the front-end team, you will develop new features to keep existing users happy but also to make our product fit for new markets. Your focus will be on crafting code that is both maintainable and aligns with our technical standards. Additionally, you will contribute to the automated delivery, maintenance, monitoring, and enhancement of client environments on our Kubernetes-based Microsoft Azure Cloud platform.

Collaboration is at the core of our work culture. You will closely collaborate with fellow front-end developers, designers, business analysts, and product stakeholders. Continuous learning is integral to your role, as you explore and implement emerging technologies and coding best practices. Sharing your newfound knowledge with the team will be a regular part of your job.

What will you do as Front-end developer?

Well, starting point of every day is your daily standup. Then on Monday you may find yourself working on a user story to explain our sophisticated calculations through clear graphs and visuals for wealth management. On Tuesday, you join our Tech Tuesday in which we tell you all about a specific technical topic, such as code generation with the newest Angular features. On Wednesday, you could be preparing configuration updates for a new patch. On Thursday you perform tests for a new feature we’re about to launch. And on Friday, you join the sprint review, and our Friday Live, a presentation by one of our colleagues presenting an interesting topic, well accompanied by some drinks and snacks.

In addition, the following aspects are important:

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or comparable experience and background.
• You have affinity with frontend development and possess basic knowledge of Angular, Typescript, HTML and CSS.
• You have an interest in DevOps work in a Cloud-Native environment.
• You are fluent in English.
