As a Climate Research Specialist within the Climate & ESG Solutions team, Tamera ensures the latest climate science and policies are translated into practical financial insights to support the climate-risk management initiatives of financial institutions. By transforming these insights into a wide range of dynamic charts and other various types of content within our Climate Scenario Explorer, a key feature of Ortec Finance’s climate scenario analysis solution, she supports our clients to better measure, manage, and monitor their investment portfolio’s climate risk exposure.
Tamera joined Ortec Finance in 2022 after working in the Middle East and the US on various public, private, and non-profit projects, primarily focused on biodiversity conservation and policy. She also specializes in data science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and coastal environmental management. Currently, she is contributing her biodiversity expertise to a Public-Private Partnership project led by Wageningen Economic Research and the Foundation for Sustainable Development.
Tamera holds a Masters in Environmental Management, majoring in Coastal Environmental Management and GIS from the Nicholas School of the Environment, Duke University and a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Ecology and Environmental Biology from the Imperial College London.
