About this session

Machine learning has become a buzzword in financial modeling in recent years, providing new tools both for existing problems and for problems previously deemed unfeasible. But Machine Learning is no free lunch. Using residential real estate valuation for the municipality of Amsterdam as an example, we illustrate the main challenges to successful deployment of Machine Learning in financial modeling, and the research we conduct to overcome these challenges.
