London, UNITED KINGDOM (30 July 2026) – Ortec Finance, a leading provider of financial decision-making technology, has appointed Sam Radford as Head of UK&I Clients within its Global Wealth Solutions department. Sam takes up the role on 1 August 2026.
Sam Radford, CFA, moves into the role from Ortec Finance's Investment Performance business, where he has spent close to ten years in a range of roles across global teams and most recently led several of them. That experience covers building a growing business and scaling its operations, both directly relevant to the firm's expansion with OPAL in the UK and Ireland.
In his new position, Sam will be responsible for the OPAL clients and associated team across the UK and Ireland. Working with wealth managers, financial planners and banks to embed risk- and goals-based decision-making into their advice processes using OPAL. OPAL uses institutional-grade forecasting to help investors reach their long-term goals with confidence, enabling advisers to monitor client portfolios through dynamic updates that track market conditions and outlooks.
The appointment comes alongside an expansion of the UK & Ireland OPAL client base and team. The change supports Ortec Finance's growth ambitions in the UK and Ireland with OPAL and allows a growing client base as it continues to expand.
