History
In 1981 a group of PhD students discovered that by applying innovative modeling techniques they could support companies in making better decisions and therefore improving their efficiency and quality.
In 1985 an asset-liability scenario system was developed for a large Dutch corporate pension fund. It was very well received and appeared to be a valuable model in helping the fund make effective investment decisions.
Ortec Finance as part of ORTEC International was established in 2004.
In 2008 Ortec Finance was established as an independent company.
Nowadays Ortec Finance’s founders still own parts of its shares. All other shares are owned by employees.

2018 Ortec Finance Hong Kong established (discontinued in 2021)
