We are looking for someone who is passionate about the financial markets and who would like to work with industry leading asset and liability modelling (ALM) software to service the largest pension funds and asset managers globally. The Junior Consultant position resides in the Global Client Servicing team of the Pension Strategy Solution. The position is based in the Netherlands, but you will be working together closely with colleagues located in the international offices of Ortec Finance. You will be required to provide support to our license clients by training them, helping them perform analyses and will become their sparring partner when it comes to the use of the ALM software, GLASS. You will gain significant experience in the asset as well as the liability modelling of client’s balance sheets, perform ALM studies yourself and further develop your modelling, analytical, advising and presentation skills. You will be in direct contact with the clients and you will be able to alternate your work between, office, working from home and occasionally at clients.

• You ideally have a master’s degree in finance, Economics, Econometrics, Actuarial Sciences, Financial Engineering or an exact science (e.g. Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics)
• The location of this position is in the Netherlands (Rotterdam or Amsterdam). Being able to live and work in the Netherlands is a hard requirement.
• You are interested in the financial markets. 
• Being fluent in English is a requirement.

What is the Pension Strategy Solution?

Pension funds around the globe are confronted with challenging circumstances regarding retirement, investment and planning; continued low yields, complex liabilities, regulatory pressure, implementing good governance, and member communications.
